According to Statistics Finland, private sector enterprises spent an average of EUR 330 per employee on course-based studying in 2020, which is 40.1 per cent less than in 2015. Costs of course-based training as a share of labour costs decreased in services from 1.4 per cent in 2010 to 0.7 per cent in 2020 and in manufacturing from 1.3 per cent in 2010 to 0.5 per cent in 2020. The data for the statistics are collected every five years.
