Output of the national economy grew in November 2011

Seasonally adjusted output grew by 0.7 per cent in November from the month before. Adjusted for working days, output went up by 1.3 per cent from the level of the previous year's corresponding month.

Description: The Trend Indicator of Output endeavours to forecast the monthly development of the national economy. It contains index series since January 1996. The data are in the form of an index whose base year is always the previous year. The data have been calculated as original and working day adjusted series for the whole economy and for three main industries. A seasonally adjusted and a trend series are also calculated for the whole economy.

The seasonally adjusted and trend series on production and some other economic transactions have become considerably revised for 2008 and 2009 in connection with the release concerning October, which affects the calculated change percentages from the previous month.
