| Description: | A stumpage price index describes the real stumpage price development (January 1995=100). The indexes are based on roundwood trade volume and price statistics. Indexes are used to express stumpage price changes of six main roundwood assortments as a single parameter. Nominal stumpage prices are converted to real prices by using a wholesale price index (1949=100). Stumpage price indexes are published monthly and annually for six price regions.
