Description of new data
Two new variables were added to the economy-wide material flow accounts table 13rw Material flows by material category: raw material consumption and direct inputs of raw materials. Data are available for the years 2010 to 2021. Raw material consumption and the use of raw materials measure the domestic final use of raw materials and the inputs used by the national economy. They take into account raw material equivalents for imports and exports, i.e. the inputs needed to produce the imported or exported volume of materials.
