Correspondingly, prices of forest chippings and milled peat of domestic fuels went up in the last quarter.

- The consumer prices of liquid fuels fell in the last quarter of 2023 compared to one year ago. The prices have started to return to the level before the energy crisis of 2022.
- The price of natural gas has fallen from the record high figures of 2022, but the price made an upturn in the last quarter of 2023 compared to the third quarter.
- In December 2023, the total price of electricity for household customers fell by 18 to 25 per cent compared to one year earlier. The size of the fall was mostly influenced by customers’ consumption group.
- In December 2023, the total price of electricity for enterprise and corporate customers fell by 27 to 56 per cent to one year earlier.
- The price of milled peat rose by 20 per cent in the last quarter of 2023 and the price of forest chippings by 23 per cent compared to the last quarter of 2022.
