Number of enterprise closures grew by 30 per cent in the second quarter of 2023 from one year ago

According to Statistics Finland, there were 7,915 enterprise closures in the second quarter of 2023. During the quarter, the number of enterprise closures increased by 29.7 per cent from the previous year. At the same time, enterprise openings numbered 10,100. In the second quarter of 2023, the number of enterprise openings was 4.1 per cent lower than one year previously.
