Building costs rose by 0.9 per cent year-on-year in March

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.9 per cent higher in March 2014 than in March of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.4 per cent, the prices of materials grew by 0.5 per cent, and those of other inputs increased by 1.8 per cent from one year ago.

From February to March, the total index of building costs rose by 0.2 per cent. The prices of labour remained unchanged, the prices of materials went up by 0.4 per cent and those of other inputs by 0.2 per cent.
