| Description: | The annual statistics on total milk production contain data on the milk volumes that farms have supplied to dairies and the various uses of milk on farms. The statistics also disclose data on the average milk production and numbers of cows. The data presented in the statistics are based on information collected monthly from dairies, the farm survey and the Bovine Register. The development of total milk production and the average production of cows have also been displayed as a time series.
