Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased in August

The goods volume in domestic waterborne traffic totalled 0,4 million tonnes in August 2021. Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased by 1 per cent compared to August 2020. In August 2021 domestic water transport took place only in coastal waterways.

Oil products were transported most, in total 222,328 tonnes, which was 60 per cent of all transport. The second most transported was crude minerals and cement, 59,938 tonnes.

A total of 19,507 tons of transport were registered through the canal in domestic traffic.
