Costs of civil engineering rose in April 2023 by 2.8 per cent from one year ago

According to Statistics Finland, the costs of civil engineering rose by 2.8 per cent from April 2022 to April 2023. The annual change in costs varied by sub-index from 9.4 per cent for rock structures to -7.9 per cent for surfacing.

  • Examined by cost factor, costs decreased most per month in purchased machine services (-1.9%) and materials (-0.7%).
