Building cost index

Data:	Latest release: Building costs rose by 2.8 per cent in January 10 Feb 2012 Building costs were 2.8 per cent higher in January 2012 than in January 2011. Labour costs in construction rose by 2.1 per cent, prices of materials by 2.6 per cent and prices of other inputs by 5.1 per cent per year. This is indicated by the Building Cost Index of Statistics Finland 2010=100. Next release: 12 Mar 2012

Change:	The base year change of the Building Cost Index is postponed 17 Feb 2011 Contrary to previous information the Building Cost Index will be released with the base year 2005=100 on 17 February 2011.
