Credit cards

The statistics on credit cards contain data on the numbers of credit card accounts and credit card transactions, on the amount of credit card debt, bad card debts, credit card interest rates and extra charges, delayed card repayments and card payment transactions.

Financial leasing

The statistics on financial leasing contain data by sector, industry and object on the financial leasing activities of credit institutions and other lessors.

Financial statement statistics on credit institutions

Statistics Finland has been publishing harmonised statistics from the financial statements of all credit institutions in compliance with the Ministry of Finance’s decree on financial statement formulas since 1995.

Insurance Brokers

A summary and statistics regarding the activities of insurance brokers drafted in accordance with the transaction report provided by the brokers to the Financial Supervisory Authority.

Insurance Companies

Profit and loss account, balance sheet, appendixes and insurance classes of the non-life, life and pension insurance companies.

Investment service companies

Statistics Finland has been publishing quarterly and annual financial statement statistics on investment service companies since the situation at year-end 1998.

Outstanding credit

These statistics show distributions of the outstanding credit stock and new loans drawn by lender and borrower sector, industry of the borrower, financial claim category and the purpose of use of credit.
