Strategy for economic statistics and measures proposed for 2008-2012

The strategy for economic statistics applies and gives precision to the operational strategy of Statistics Finland as regards economic statistics. The strategy for economic statistics aims for 1) improvement of the appropriateness of economic statistics to users' needs and 2) condensation and unification of the system of economic statistics.

The strategy for economic statistics was confirmed on 28th November 2007 by the Director General of Statistics Finland.
