Geographic information is formed of spatial data and attribute data. Attribute data refers to the information describing the attributes of an object. While spatial data of geographic information indicate where the object is, attribute data specify what or what kind of object it is. For example, co-ordinates 6676895 and I 3387846 describing geographic information are spatial data and information that the location object is 'building', is attribute data. The information relating to the year of construction of the building is also attribute data.
