Description

The targets of the collection of data on educational institutions and students are numbers of students in autumn, as a rule on 20 September, and structures of the information society

Target group

The data are collected by educational institution and the data suppliers are upper secondary general schools, vocational education institutions, music colleges, sports education centres, folk high schools, adult education centres, summer universities and study centres.

The data are collected electronically via the Internet with a web questionnaire. The application remains open from 10 September to 10 October. The application may only be accessed by data suppliers who have received a user ID from Statistics Finland.

Data protection

The obligation to provide data is based on the Statistics Act (280/2004). The Statistics Act obliges Statistics Finland to treat the provided data as confidential.
