The objective of the data collection for the review of educational institutions in spring is to ascertain the educational institutions that will be operating on 20 September of the following autumn.
The targets of the data collection are municipalities, joint municipal boards and private providers of education and the educational institutions maintained by them.
The obligation to provide data is based on the Statistics Act (280/2004). The Statistics Act obliges Statistics Finland to treat the provided data as confidential.
