Fixed assets data / Sales inquiry

Description

The inquiry on fixed assets requests from enterprises data on increases and decreases of fixed assets in Finland.

Fixed assets data is asked quarterly with a separate questionnaire in connection with the sales inquiry. The data collected are monthly.

Target group

The inquiry on fixed assets covers around 1800 most important enterprises in their respective industries. The inclusion criterion applied is the size of the enterprise’s turnover relative to the turnover of the respective industry.

Data protection

The obligation to provide data is based on the Statistics Act (280/2004), which obliges Statistics Finland to treat the provided data as confidential. In the statistics to be published the data are given as index figures for each industry.
