Data on consumption of hard coal are collected for the quarterly statistics on total consumption of energy. The statistics are published in the statistical section of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy’s Energy Review and on Statistics Finland’s Internet pages. Storage data are published on Statistics Finland’s Internet pages in connection with the statistics on consumption of hard coal.
Data are requested from the biggest hard coal consumers (11 enterprises in 2007), which account for over 90 per cent of hard coal consumption. Responding is voluntary.
